Online Roommate Search Service Off-Campus Student Services Welcome to the Off Campus Student Services Online Roommate Search Service, a service for students, faculty and staff of The Ohio State University wishing to locate roommates from the campus of The Ohio State University. Before visiting the Online Roommate Search Service and learning more about how to use this service, please take a moment to read through our Online Roommate Search Service User Agreement below. After you have read this agreement, click “I agree.” By doing so you indicate that you have read and agree with the terms of use for this service. You will then be allowed to sign in to the system using your OSU username and password. If you do not know your username and password, please contact OIT at https://acctmgt.service.ohio-state.edu/ or dial 688-HELP. User Agreement By voluntarily using this service, I understand and agree as follows: • This service is provided as an informational service only. Neither the Ohio State University, the Office of Student Life, nor the Office of Off-Campus Student Services (collectively, “the University”) endorses any information or individual listed on this service. • Any personal information provided can and will be shared with other users, and I hereby consent to the release of such information until this consent is withdrawn in writing to the Office of Off-Campus Student Services. • This service is intended only for use by members of the academic community at The Ohio State University. The University will make reasonable efforts to prevent the release of information listed on this service to unauthorized individuals. However, the University cannot ensure the privacy or confidentiality of that information. • The University may occasionally monitor the information provided in order to deter inappropriate use of this service. The University reserves the right to remove user information from this system at any time, for any reason without notice. • The University does not perform background checks on potential roommates or verify the information listed on this service. To the extent desired, users are solely responsible for performing background checks and/or verifying this information. • The University does not warrant, guarantee or ensure the safety or suitability of your living arrangements or the compatibility of a roommate obtained through this service. The University assumes absolutely no liability for any financial obligations incurred by users or any financial arrangements to which users might agree. • Correspondence with other users of this service is permitted only for the purpose of making living arrangements. All other correspondence is strictly prohibited without prior permission from the Office of Off-Campus Student Services. I have reviewed the foregoing information and hereby agree to release the University from any and all liability that might arise from my use of this service.
