Even if you live off-campus, there are many resources available to you as students.

Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services is a non-profit law office employing legal professionals to provide advice, representation, education, and resources to eligible Ohio State students regarding a wide range of legal issues, including predatory towing, criminal misdemeanors, traffic offenses, landlord-tenant, consumer and credit matters, dissolutions, simple wills and power of attorney, notary and much more. Student Mediation Program

Student Conduct has partnered with the Moritz College of Law to offer free mediation services to all Ohio State students as an avenue to resolve conflicts and disagreements. Counseling and Consultation Service

Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) assists currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. CCS also works with spouses/partners of students who are covered by the Comprehensive Student Health Insurance. Counseling and Consultation Service can assist you with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, transitions in life, identity exploration, substance use, eating concerns, feeling overwhelmed and academic adjustment. Student Wellness Center

The Student Wellness Center promotes the nine dimensions of wellness: emotional, occupational, social, intellectual, spiritual, physical, financial, aesthetic and environmental, by providing information on various health issues, providing programs and services to individuals and groups, and contributing to the development of a more healthy and caring campus community. Some of the programs and services they provide include: financial counseling, nutritional counseling, HIV testing, condoms, and sexual violence and drug education. Student Advocacy Center

The Student Advocacy Center is committed to assisting students in cutting through campus bureaucracy. Its purpose is to empower students to overcome obstacles to their growth both inside and outside the classroom, and to help them maximize their educational experience while pursuing their degrees at The Ohio State University. Recreational Sports

The Department of Recreational Sports offers members of The Ohio State University community an extraordinary experience to live active and meaningful lives while on-campus. Programs and services range from class instruction, aquatics, adventure trips, climbing, drop-in fitness and recreation, intramural sports, sport clubs, massage therapy, personal training, disc golf, skateboarding, roller hockey and many other activities.  Recreational Sports also offers American Red Cross Safety Training Courses in CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Training, Water Safety, SCUBA and more. On-Campus Parking Permits

CampusParc offers parking permits to students, staff, and faculty. Permit eligibility is determined by the University and is based on credit hours and address (residence hall or off-campus). Permits may be upgraded during the year if either of those change. Prices and types of permit information are located on CampusParc's website. Students may purchase on-campus parking permits at either 1560 North High St. or online at osu.campusparc.com.

Buckeye Block Watch

The Buckeye Block Watch (BBW) is a student organization for off-campus and commuter students. This organization works to enrich the off-campus and commuter experience as well as increase student engagement and community.

The purpose of Buckeye Block Watch is:

1.  to encourage safety and build community in the University District through facilitating safety education and neighbor-to-neighbor interaction.

2. To act as an advisory group to the off-campus and commuter student population at The Ohio State University.

3. To communicate the interests of off-campus and commuter students concerning campus issues (e.g. safety). 

4. To sponsor activities and encourage collaboration among off-campus and commuter students in order to provide for the continuing growth of students’ involvement, participation, and belonging to The Ohio State University.
