Update

Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities will be administered in compliance with the law as of June 27, 2025.

  • While some companies had loads of snacks others had fun games or interactive stations like playing corn hole or building your own flower bouquet.

Safety & Community Resources

This year, the event featured The Community Connection on Potter Plaza, which provided an interactive space for students to connect with the resources that serve them while living off campus. Some of the participating organizations included:

  • City of Columbus Division of Police
  • 311, Code Enforcement
  • Buckeye Block Watch
  • University District Organization

Students even had the chance to participate in an interactive fire extinguisher demonstration courtesy of the City of Columbus Division of Fire.

Fun Elements

  • A very special visit from Brutus Buckeye
  • Live fire extinguisher demonstration
