Off-Campus Residential Experience Team

Community Ambassadors

Community Ambassadors (CA) are fellow OSU students who serve as off-campus and commuter student advocates, as well as mentors for students navigating their college living experience.

The Community Ambassador (CA) staff embody a wide array of experiences and backgrounds, and actively work to improve the off-campus and commuter student experience. CAs advocate for students through a variety of opportunities including outreach efforts to share resources both on and off campus, hosting engagement initiatives, and fostering peer relationships. Simply put, Community Ambassadors are students who support fellow students.

Military Community Advocate

A Military Community Advocate (MCA) is an Ohio State student who directly interacts with veterans living off-campus or commuting to campus. As an MCA, they help students understand the challenges facing student veterans at Ohio State and develop initiatives that serve as outreach to fellow veteran students, the campus population at large, and the surrounding Columbus community.

The MCA role is in partnership with the Military and Veterans Services office at The Ohio State University.
