Off-Campus Community Welcome

Each year, the week prior to classes starting, Community Ambassadors, and many other volunteers across the university and city welcome new and returning residents in the University District. The purpose of the meet and greet is to introduce the Community Ambassadors and provide students with essential off-campus living information, as well as information of our office's resources.

The Off-Campus Community Welcome was held on Friday, August 18 from 9:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m in the University District. Later that week, we hosted the Off-Campus Block Party on Friday, August 25 from 3-6 p.m. at 16th & Indianola.

With both welcome events, we connected with over 900 students, long-term neighbors, and community members in the Univeristy District. We look forward to connecting more students next year, so stay tuned!
